This Is How You Will Grow

The Design Release Engineer will work with an extended team to confirm, integrate, and release new design solutions, organize working level meetings, and participate in the creative development of new products to influence the future of the OEM’s brand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience with design, release, and manufacturing of automotive components
  • Experience creating internal requirements per customer specifications
  • Knowledge in development/maintenance of BOM’s, DFMEA’s, PFMEA’s, DVP&R’s, and test plans
  • Proficient in CATIA and/or NX
  • Experience with PPAP activities and successful launch processes, including customer PPAP approval
  • Assistance in purchasing, supplier selection, and technical communications with suppliers
  • Skilled in program management to track timelines and engineering tasks
