This is how you will grow:
The Material Flow Simulation Engineer will join the Production Solutions team to design and simulate automotive manufacturing conveyor systems. Key responsibilities include supporting new vehicle programs, creating and debugging simulation models, and collaborating with manufacturing plants.
Responsibilities:
- Support new vehicle programs through custom studies.
- Troubleshoot and debug throughput simulation models.
- Convert simulation models between CDraw2 and Plant Simulation software.
- Create new MFS models and combine MFS and TAS models.
- Travel to plant sites as necessary.
- Gather inputs and analyze simulation results for improvements.
Requirements:
- Experience in designing automotive manufacturing conveyor systems.
- Proficiency with AutoDesk Design Review and AutoCAD.
- Skilled in throughput simulation software; knowledge of Plant Simulation is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of material flow operations and GA processes.
- Ability to work with ambiguous data and document best practices.
