ECS is seeking an Elastic Engineer to work remotely. As a leading provider of managed cybersecurity services, ECS offers a tailored approach to protect both customer and corporate environments. The role supports ECS's Army PEO C3N program in a Federal DoD environment.

Role Overview

This technical hands-on role requires designing, building, securing, maintaining, optimizing, and documenting multiple Elastic Stack Enterprise solutions. You will work with Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats, ML, SIEM and support using Ansible playbook. Responsibilities include continuous data normalization and the delivery of written technical deliverables such as SOPs and process workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Compliance with DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II certification
• Certified Elastic Engineer or certification acquired within 90 days
• At least 4 years’ experience with Elastic Stack for security and logging
• Experience with Ansible Playbook

Desired Skills

• Integration of Elasticsearch with external systems (SOAR, Threat Intel)
• Expertise in data management and performance tuning
• Experience with authentication protocols such as SAML, LDAP, PKI
• Proficiency in multiple languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
• Deployment in on-prem and SaaS environments

Additional Information

Salary Range: $120,000 - $170,000 annually.
