Job Description
Overview
ECS is seeking a Data Analyst to work remotely. This role supports an enterprise big data and analytics platform that ingests real-time data at extreme volumes and high velocity.
Responsibilities
The Data Analyst will work in two capacities:
- Software Development Lifecycle: Provide input into data architecture design, analyze outputs for data quality, validate SIT and CAT results, and support production data validations.
- Business Support: Triage user inquiries, query and analyze data to extract business insights.
Required Skills
- 3-5+ years of experience
- US Citizen or Green Card holder with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in SQL or other structured query languages
- Mastery of MS Office Suite (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Desired Skills
- Experience with NoSQL data platforms (e.g., Hadoop/Hive)
- Familiarity with Avro schema and Postal/mailing industry data
