Position Overview
ECS is seeking a full-time Consultant II to provide client delivery services supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Claims and Appeals Modernization Office. This remote role requires a self-starter with proven critical thinking, communication, and client relationship skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support mail operations through multiple systems and escalate complex packets.
- Access and use VA claim and appeal systems including Centralized Mail Portal, Caseflow, VBMS, and SharePoint.
- Correspond with VHA program offices, manage correspondence and special handling requests.
- Work independently with clients on ad-hoc mail operations and special projects.
- Draft congressionally mandated report updates under team lead supervision.
- Mentor junior team members and assist with onboarding training.
- Prepare materials for client meetings, briefings, and reporting activities.
- Support drafting and editing of deliverables including manuals, SOPs, and training materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with relevant work experience.
- Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with Caseflow, VBMS, or VA's Centralized Mail Portal.
- Experience in fast-paced mail, claim, or appeal intake environments.
- Understanding of VHA organizational framework.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green-Card Holder to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
