Overview

ECS is seeking an ARPA-H Business Financial Manager to work remotely. This role supports ARPA-H's mission by providing comprehensive financial and administrative support to Program Managers and the broader agency, accelerating breakthroughs in health.

Programmatic Support

  • Assist PMs with program budget development, forecasting, tracking, and analysis.
  • Prepare and manage financial documents including OTAs, grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements.
  • Track program milestones and ensure compliance with funding agreements.
  • Monitor and report on program performance metrics.

Financial Management

  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare clear financial reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal financial regulations and agency policies.

Administrative Support

  • Manage program contracts and awards in coordination with legal teams.
  • Organize program meetings and workshops.
  • Prepare correspondence and presentations for various audiences.
  • Manage travel and other program expenses.

Collaboration

  • Work with diverse ARPA-H teams, including scientists, engineers, and administrative staff.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners, contractors, and government agencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in federal financial management, preferably in R&D.
  • At least 1 year supporting DARPA or similar ARPA agencies.
  • Strong understanding of Federal financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Experience with OTAs, grants, contracts, cooperative agreements, and financial modeling tools.
  • Knowledge of Budgeting, PPBE, and resource management.
  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency required.
  • Active Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one.

Salary

Salary Range: $90,000 - $140,000.
