Job Overview

ECS Tech Inc is seeking a Sr. Elastic Engineer for our Scott AFB, IL office. This position is contingent upon contract award.

What You Will Do

You will design, implement, and manage robust Elasticsearch clusters while developing observability frameworks. You will also optimize search query performance, secure data integrity, and monitor system health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Elasticsearch clusters.
  • Deploy and manage applications via Kubernetes.
  • Optimize search queries and indexing strategies.
  • Ensure data integrity and system security.
  • Develop and maintain observability frameworks (Kibana, Grafana, etc.).
  • Implement logging, metrics, and tracing systems.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and prepare performance reports.
