Job Overview

ECS Tech Inc is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support end-to-end ServiceNow implementations and delivery goals in our Washington, DC office. The role focuses on development, customization, and light administration of ServiceNow, supporting a U.S. Government civilian agency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop custom applications and workflows in ServiceNow
  • Customize ITSM modules like Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management
  • Create reports, dashboards, and customized forms
  • Integrate ServiceNow using web services (REST, SOAP)
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
  • Deep expertise in ITSM modules and ServiceNow APIs
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (client and server side)
  • Experience with version control, update sets, and application deployment
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Team & Reporting

This role is part of the Cybersecurity Engineering team and reports to the Lead of the Engineering Team.
