Job Overview

ECS Tech Inc is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work in our Charleston, SC office. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Role Responsibilities

The role focuses on supporting the medical mission of the DoD by managing complex LAN/WLAN/WAN networks across the CONUS region. The engineer is expected to diagnose, install, configure, document, and troubleshoot network equipment using tools like Orion SolarWinds, ARMIS, and Ansible.

  • Resolve large-scale network issues and implement solutions.
  • Serve as the primary network expert for configuration, management, and security.
  • Advise government officials and coordinate with network specialists.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD and DHA standards.
  • Establish and document standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Secret clearance and possess a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) with at least 5 to 10 years of related experience. Certifications such as CCNP and CISSP are required along with deep knowledge of network protocols, LAN/WLAN/WAN technologies, and relevant diagnostic tools.
