Senior Network Engineer

Job Overview

ECS Tech Inc is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work in our Stuttgart, Germany office. This position is contingent upon contract award. The role supports the medical mission of the DoD by addressing complex network infrastructure requirements in the Europe region.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex LAN/WLAN/WAN network issues.
• Research network-level problems using advanced management tools such as Orion SolarWinds, ARMIS, and Ansible.
• Provide installation, configuration, documentation, management, and troubleshooting support.
• Advise and consult with government agencies and contractor representatives.
• Establish and implement network procedures and standards in compliance with DoD and DHA.

Technical Requirements

The role requires mastery of various networking protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and more. Experience with Cisco systems, Windows networks, and advanced network administration tools is essential. Proficiency with firewalls, VPN devices, and IDSs to maintain security barriers is required.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related field with 5 years experience or equivalent technical education and 10 years experience.
• Compliance with DoD directives and required certifications (CCNP, CISSP) is mandatory.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with government, medical professionals, and technical teams.
