Position Overview

ECS Tech Inc is seeking a Senior Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist to work in our Springfield, VA office. This position is contingent upon additional funding and requires a Letter of Intent, final acceptance by the government customer, and validation of required clearances including a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

Job Responsibilities

  • Optimize databases to enhance query, input, export, and visualization performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the DoD and Intelligence communities.
  • Custom-build solutions to automate analytic endeavors across multiple units.
  • Write scripts in Visual Basic, R, Python, or similar for statistical models.
  • Utilize geospatial tools (e.g., ArcGIS, SPSS, SAS, MatLab) for data analysis and visualization.
  • Manage data transfer between various applications and databases.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues in application and database management systems.
  • Develop and publish tradecraft techniques and training solutions for big data methodologies.

Qualifications

  • US Citizen with a Bachelor’s degree or 3-6 years of experience.
  • Active/current TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a counterintelligence polygraph.
  • Experience in GEOINT exploitation, intelligence analysis, and production.
  • Proficiency in Python, API building, and advanced analytic modeling.
  • Skilled in using geospatial tools and managing both structured and unstructured data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
