Job Overview

ECS Tech Inc is seeking a Senior Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist to work in our Springfield, VA office. This position is contingent upon additional funding and requires a Letter of Intent as well as final acceptance by the government customer.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Optimize existing databases for query, input, export, and data visualization.
  • Collaborate with DoD and Intelligence communities to expose new datasets.
  • Custom-build tools and automate analytic workflows across teams.
  • Write scripts using Visual Basic, R, Python, and other statistical software.
  • Employ mathematical concepts to solve complex GEOINT analysis issues.
  • Utilize geospatial tools like ArcGIS, Excel, SPSS, SAS, and MatLab for data visualization.
  • Manage data migration and troubleshoot performance issues across applications.
  • Develop and publish advanced tradecraft techniques for the customer’s tradecraft HUB.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship with an active/current TS/SCI clearance and counterintelligence polygraph eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree or 3-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in GEOINT exploitation, data science, and advanced analytic modeling.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, API development, and geospatial tools.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
