Job Description

ECS Tech Inc is seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineer to work in our Arlington, VA office. This position is contingent upon contract award.

The successful candidate will join the Department of Homeland Security team, working alongside experienced Windows cloud engineers and security specialists. In this role, you will contribute to endpoint management and server operations by driving automation through scripting and testing of emerging technologies for faster deployments and reduced workload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Intune administration including compliance policies for conditional access, configuration, application deployment, and patching.
• Utilize Windows Update for Business to keep workstations up-to-date.
• Manage and maintain Windows 11 workstation baseline configurations.
• Troubleshoot and support Windows Autopilot issues.
• Analyze system problems and develop both short-term and long-term solutions.
• Package software and updates for test and production environments.
• Develop security baselines in collaboration with Engineering and Security teams.
• Create reports on device compliance, deployment, patch management, and software inventory.
• Write PowerShell scripts to automate systems administration tasks.

Qualifications:

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust Suitability.
• BA + 10 years’ experience, AA + 12 years’ experience, or 16 years’ overall experience.
• 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Strong experience with PowerShell scripting including built-in and add-on PowerShell modules.
• Familiarity with EntraID (formerly Azure Active Directory) for enterprise endpoint management.
