About the Role

ECS Tech Inc is seeking a Jira Engineer to work in our Washington, DC office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions that extend the Atlassian platform including custom Confluence pages, Jira architecture, plugins, reporting, and UIs.
  • Scale Atlassian configuration for enhanced scalability and performance.
  • Engage with clients to understand requirements and implement workflows.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to permissions, notifications, and workflows.
  • Create reporting, dashboards, and advanced filters for operational metrics.
  • Plan, test, and implement upgrades and migrations of Atlassian tools.
  • Design and implement solutions for process automation.

Additional Duties

  • Access projects as defined by permission schemes.
  • Work with issues including create, read, update, and delete.
  • Create boards, dashboards, saved filters, and share issues.
  • View project reports and comment for collaboration.

Salary & Benefits

Qualifications

  • Current Top-Secret Clearance (SCI/CI-Poly eligibility preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7+ years experience in IT solutions development.
  • 7+ years leading teams of developers and support engineers.
  • 5+ years with Atlassian Data Center products including Jira Service Management, Jira Software, and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of Agile, SAFe and continuous integration practices.
