Field Service Engineer III

ECS Tech Inc is seeking a Field Service Engineer III to work in our Norman, OK office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain products/equipment.
  • Train employees and develop preventive procedures.
  • Identify, analyze, and repair product failures.
  • Create lifecycle support documentation including maintenance and safety procedures.
  • Recommend products or services that fit customer needs.
  • Utilize a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Plan and accomplish goals using experience and judgment.
  • May lead and direct work of others.

Qualifications

  • 4-6+ years of experience in the field or related area.
  • US citizen or Green Card Holder with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Willing to travel up to 20% for training and site visits.
  • Availability for off-hours calls for urgent issues.
  • Experience drafting/updating technical documentation.
  • Skilled in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machines and equipment.
  • Knowledge in mechanical, electro-mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, including PLC systems.
  • Strong communication skills for technical guidance and failure analysis.
  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external customers.
  • Understanding of life-cycle support methodologies and basic industrial control systems.
