ARPA-H Senior Scientist/Engineer (Regenerative Medicine)

ECS Tech Inc is seeking a Senior Scientist/Engineer with expertise in regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and biomedical engineering to serve as a Scientific Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA). You will support an ARPA-H Program Manager and work remotely.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will collaborate with the ARPA-H Program Manager and team to advance bold research initiatives, support the development, funding, and management of R&D programs, and address critical gaps in research aligned with ARPA-H’s mission to accelerate better health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise the Program Manager on program development and progress.
• Evaluate technical scientific data to identify R&D gaps.
• Monitor and track progress towards established metrics.
• Develop briefings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Critically review complex scientific and technical data.
• Collaborate in a team environment and work independently as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks such as report writing and data analysis.
• Occasional CONUS travel (~10-20%) to support the Program Manager.

Qualifications

• PhD in tissue engineering, biomedical engineering, regenerative therapeutics, genetic engineering, gene editing, or cell therapy.
• Minimum of four years industry experience in biotech/biopharmaceutical environments.
• Experience with regulatory affairs.
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills under high-pressure conditions.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Professional curiosity and a continuous drive for learning.
• Eligibility for federal Public Trust clearance.
