Job Opportunity: Advanced Cost Analyst

ECS Tech Inc is seeking an Advanced Cost Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of DoD Business Operations for complex weapon systems.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge in cost estimating, operations research, mathematics, economics, engineering, science, or business fields.
  • Work independently, conduct strategic coordination, and lead teams to solve intricate problems.
  • Apply costing methods including cost estimating methods, parametric estimating, CER, and Learning Curve Theory.
  • Develop cost models, integrate cost risk analysis, and prepare independent government cost estimates.
  • Conduct data normalization, statistical analyses (OLS regression, Monte Carlo Simulation, Sensitivity Analysis) and affordability reviews.
  • Create cost data collection plans, maintain Government owned cost databases, and support Congressionally required reports.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
  • 7+ years relevant cost estimating experience.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to support high-level cost analysis for the Missile Defense Agency.

Salary Range

$120,000 - $170,000
