Sr. Elastic Engineer at ECS Tech Inc

ECS Tech Inc is seeking a Sr. Elastic Engineer to work in our Scott AFB, IL office. This position is contingent upon contract award.

If you are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to leverage your skills in Elasticsearch and observability, this role in our Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) team could be a fit.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Elasticsearch clusters.
  • Deploy applications using Kubernetes ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Optimize search query performance and indexing strategies.
  • Ensure data integrity and security in Elasticsearch environments.
  • Monitor Elasticsearch health and performance for proactive issue resolution.
  • Develop observability frameworks with tools like Kibana and Grafana.
  • Implement logging, metrics, and tracing systems for real-time monitoring.
  • Analyze and visualize complex datasets to identify trends and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define observability and search requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in Kubernetes, search, and observability.
  • Document architectures, procedures, and system performance reports.

Qualifications & Benefits

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are required. Candidates must be willing to travel domestically or internationally, possess a U.S. Passport, and be able to obtain a US Security Clearance.
