Sr. Artificial Intelligence Engineer

ECS Tech Inc is seeking a passionate and driven Sr. Artificial Intelligence Engineer to work remotely in support of a rapidly growing Data Analytics and Business Intelligence platform for Federal customers.

The role focuses on data engineering to support AI/ML projects, including building and managing data pipelines, integrating multiple data sets, and ensuring secure data processing and transfer. The candidate will work within a multidisciplinary Agile team alongside data scientists, data architects, and federal stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines for storage and management.
  • Partner with data scientists and architects to deploy AI/ML models.
  • Actively contribute in an Agile/Scrum team adhering to best practices.
  • Write performant code for data extraction and processing.
  • Support process automation for data ingestion.
  • Implement and document complex and evolving requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX researchers, product managers, and engineers.

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • 7+ years of IT experience with modern cloud data technology.
  • Experience with Large Language Models, NLP, GenAI, and scaling AI tools.
  • Proficiency with ETL processes, Python, R, SQL, and SAS.
  • Strong expertise in prompt engineering and cloud database maintenance.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in the Azure ecosystem and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Salary & Benefits
