Jira Engineer at ECS Tech Inc

ECS Tech Inc is seeking a Jira Engineer to work in our Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will develop advanced solutions on the Atlassian platform, extending functionality through custom Confluence pages, Jira architecture, plugins, reporting, and user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop solutions that extend the Atlassian platform.
  • Scale Atlassian configuration for performance and scalability.
  • Solve customer problems with creative web applications.
  • Engage with clients to implement project setups and workflows.
  • Troubleshoot issues like permission and security restrictions.
  • Create metrics, dashboards, and advanced filters.
  • Plan, test, and implement upgrades and migrations.
  • Design and implement automation solutions to improve operations.

Additional Duties:

  • Work with project issues – creation, reading, updating, and deletion.
  • Create boards, dashboards, saved filters, and project reports.

Qualifications:

  • Must have current Top-Secret Clearance (SCI/CI-Poly capability preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7+ years in IT solutions development and leadership experience.
  • 5+ years hands-on with Atlassian Data Center products: Jira Service Management, Jira Software, and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of Agile, SAFe, and continuous integration practices.
