VP, Strategic Change Lead (Asset Servicing Migration) at eClerx

Job Summary

We are seeking a high-caliber VP, Strategic Change Lead to drive the multi-phase migration of our Global Asset Servicing operations from Broadridge to the TCS BaNCS Global Securities Platform. This is the bank’s top operational priority.

You will lead the functional design, data migration strategy, and operational readiness workstreams. The goal is to move away from batch-based processing and manual reconciliations toward a real-time, STP-heavy (Straight Through Processing) environment that supports T+1 settlement and global corporate action standards.

Responsibilities

  • Gap Analysis & Target Operating Model (TOM): Deconstruct current Broadridge workflows (announcement scrubbing, entitlement calcs, and instructions) and map them to the TCS BaNCS "Best Practice" model.
  • Data Lineage & Migration: Lead the "Gold Copy" data migration. You must ensure that historical corporate action data and complex tax positions in Broadridge are accurately translated into the BaNCS data schema without losing audit trails.
  • Functional Configuration: Partner with TCS consultants to configure BaNCS modules for Mandatory, Voluntary, and Choice events, ensuring the system handles complex "Dutch Auctions" and "Rights Issues" better than the legacy setup.
  • Interface Management: Oversee the decommissioning of Broadridge downstream feeds and the stand-up of new BaNCS APIs for accounting, sub-custody, and client reporting.
  • User Training & Change Management: Own the "Mindset Shift." Move the operations team from the Broadridge "exception-based" manual mindset to the BaNCS "automated workflow" model.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Broadridge (BPS/Gloss/Impact) and/or TCS BaNCS.
  • Expert knowledge of ISO 15022 and ISO 20022 (migration to MX messaging is a core part of this role).
  • Deep understanding of the full event lifecycle: Announcement → Position Capture → Instruction → Payment → Tax Reclaim.
  • Proven track record of at least one large-scale "Legacy-to-Target" platform migration in a Tier-1 Bank.
