Senior Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards using Snowflake-based transformed datasets.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and engineers to translate KPIs and logic into visualizations.
  • Perform data validations to ensure report accuracy and alignment with source definitions.
  • Optimize dashboard performance including query efficiency and load time with drill-down features.
  • Implement usage tracking, alerts on dataset failures, and report lifecycle best practices.
  • Maintain .pbix-based Power BI projects with Git integration for version control and CI/CD deployment.
  • Document dashboard designs, user personas, and report specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Power BI, with strong DAX and Power Query knowledge.
  • Deep understanding of data storytelling and UI/UX principles in BI.
  • Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and deployment pipelines.
  • Strong skills in data validation, performance monitoring, and user access management.
  • Knowledge of metadata tagging, report lineage, and self-serve capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
