Position: Senior Fullstack Engineer

This role is based in our London Office (Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day remote) and is part of the rapidly growing Cards team. You will work on innovative fintech products, solving customer problems by leveraging data and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of complex customer-facing web features
• Drive frontend development using React/VueJS and backend with Python
• Collaborate with data engineers on robust data pipelines
• Own the full product lifecycle including development, maintenance, monitoring, and alerting
• Mentor junior engineers and champion technical excellence
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions
• Contribute to the technical roadmap by identifying innovation opportunities
• Ensure robust testing with good unit and integration test coverage
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies
• Participate in on-call support as needed

About You

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in fullstack development with a focus on web applications
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React) and microservices architectures
• Proficient in Python3, REST APIs, FastAPI or similar technologies
• Solid understanding of scalable architecture and testable code practices
• Knowledge of containerization, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration in English

Bonus Points

• Experience with Machine Learning or Data Science projects (e.g., LLMs)
• Working knowledge of Terraform
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and event sourcing
