About the Role
As a Payroll Specialist at Ebury, you are the technical and operational heart of the employee experience. You ensure our global team of 1,700+ professionals across 29+ markets is paid accurately, compliantly, and on time.
What You’ll Do
- End to end processing of bi-monthly and monthly payrolls as part of a small team.
- Analysis and documentation of each countries control framework and payroll processing guidance.
- Ad hoc project support.
- Manage relationships with various stakeholders (i.e., Finance, HR, etc.) and the payroll provider to ensure end-to-end process excellence.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
- Performing reconciliations and audit tasks for monthly payrolls.
- Stay up to date with local payroll regulations.
- Support Finance teams with month-end close and reporting activities.
- Regularly review payroll processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Attend to all escalated and critical payroll related issues on a timely basis.
What You’ll Need
- At least 2 years’ experience of processing payroll across multiple countries.
- Experience of working with a global payroll provider/system, preferably CloudPay.
- Ability to take ownership of payroll processes.
- Problem-solving mindset & positive attitude.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup and other formulas).
