Job Description
Your Opportunity as a Data Analytics and Experimentation Intern at EBSCO Information Services
EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) delivers a fully optimized research experience, seamlessly integrated with a powerful discovery platform to support the information needs and maximize the research experience of our end-users. Headquartered in Ipswich, MA, EBSCO employs more than 2,700 people worldwide, with most embracing hybrid or remote work models. As an AI-enabled service leader, we thrive on innovation, forward-thinking strategies, and the dedication of our exceptional team. At EBSCO, we’re driven to inspire, empower and support research. Our mission is to transform lives by providing reliable and relevant information — when, where and how people need it. We’re seeking dynamic, creative individuals whose diverse perspectives will help us achieve this global, inclusive mission. Join us to help make an impact.
The EBSCO Product Management Internship is a cross-disciplinary experience designed for college students passionate about data analysis, experimentation, and user experience. As an intern, you’ll collaborate with seasoned Product Managers to design, execute, and analyze UI experiments (A/B testing). You will turn data into insights, insights into stories, and stories into recommendations that help shape the future of EBSCO products.
This remote role is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories), with required working hours of 9:00am–5:00pm EDT.
As part of the EIS Summer Intern Program, you will participate in a structured orientation beginning in June, along with enrichment and training events across the company.
What You'll Do
- Learn directly from full-time Product Managers: how they gather data, write requirements, analyze metrics, explore user behaviors, and build visualizations that support informed decision-making
- Translate ideas and product questions into testable hypotheses; design experiment parameters; and analyze results to generate insights and recommendations
- Ask thoughtful questions, think big-picture, and proactively engage with colleagues and subject-matter experts across the company
- Cultivate curiosity and creativity while developing the discipline needed to structure insights, manage independent workstreams, and contribute effectively to a collaborative team environment
- Communicate clearly and respectfully—sharing truth-seeking perspectives, proposing new frameworks, and balancing the speed of experimentation with the value of learnings
- Work cross-functionally based on your interests and skills, partnering with developers, designers, UX researchers, analysts, and product managers
About You
- Current graduate student graduating December 2026 or later, eligible to work in USA
- Experience with analytical or testing tools (e.g., SQL, Python/R, Excel, data visualization tools, or A/B testing platforms)
- Demonstrated interest in Product Management, Data Analytics, and/or digital product experimentation
- Excellent communication skills—clear, concise, and compelling, especially when telling data-driven stories
What Sets You Apart
- Coursework or self-study in: Data Analytics, Product Management, Business, Computer Science, UX Research, or Experimental Design
