The Training Manager Vehicle Inspections is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering a national training program for vehicle inspections across Canada. This role ensures consistent inspection quality, inspector efficiency, and operational excellence by establishing standardized processes, certification pathways, train-the-trainer programs and ongoing performance support for field inspectors, trainers, and Managers.

The Training Manager reports to the Director, Operations and partners closely with Regional Operations, Product, and Technology teams to translate inspection standards and platform updates into effective learning experiences delivered through a blended model (in‑person and virtual).

What You Will Do

This role focuses on developing and managing national vehicle inspection training programs, ensuring high quality and efficient operations across Canada.

Training & Continuous Improvement

  • Oversee the development, maintenance, and evolution of inspection training materials and documentation.
  • Develop and execute a train-the-trainer program across Canada.
  • Ensure onboarding and ongoing training programs meet national standards and reflect system or process changes and enhancements.
  • Identify skill gaps and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Champion best practices across regions and facilitate knowledge sharing between teams.
  • Set clear expectations for regional performance, quality, training, and compliance.

Quality Assurance

  • Partner with executive and operations leadership to align inspection strategy with company growth objectives in Canada.
  • Establish and maintain national (Canada-wide) inspection audit programs, including thresholds, methodologies, and reporting.
  • Review audit trends and root causes to drive corrective action and training improvements.
  • Ensure consistent application of inspection processes across all Canadian regions.
  • Ensure new-hire and ongoing inspection audits are executed consistently at the regional level.
  • Analyze inspection performance data and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Reinforce a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Travel Requirements

Up to 50% travel across Canada, including overnight stays.

What You Will Need

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education preferred).
  • Extensive experience in vehicle inspections, automotive operations, or field service management.
  • Proven leadership experience managing across multiple regions.
  • Strong understanding of inspection quality standards, auditing, and performance management.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with inspection systems, reporting tools, and Google Suite.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Canada as required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

At E INC, in the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share our base pay as it is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this full-time position is $90,000.00 - $100,000.00, and this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
