About the Role
Eavor Technologies Inc. is seeking a Research Chemical Engineer to join our Technology Research & Development team in Calgary, Alberta. This role integrates technical expertise, project management, and strategic alignment to drive innovation initiatives from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research into chemical engineering processes, reactions, and materials.
- Participate in interdisciplinary R&D projects and manage project budgets.
- Oversee intellectual property activities, including patent tracking and legal coordination.
- Lead competitor analysis and maintain standardized project workflows.
- Prepare funding and grant applications to agencies such as Alberta Innovates, Emissions Reduction Alberta, and NSERC.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, have experience in materials science or chemistry, and at least 3 years of experience managing geothermal research activities. Registration eligibility as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) is required.
Technical and Soft Skills
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, MS Project, Jira and similar tools.
- Strong project management and business intelligence skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, conduct competitor and market analysis.
