This role involves leading complex, large-scale Datacenter projects, focusing on power distribution from medium to low voltage equipment, UPS systems, and battery technologies, integrated with advanced automation and monitoring systems.

About the Role

As a Data Center Project Manager, you will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from order intake through implementation and construction to handover. You will manage scope, cost, and risk effectively, collaborating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver engineered-to-order solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end project execution from purchase order to handover, covering design, procurement, and implementation for electrical/automation projects in critical infrastructure in Medium Voltage projects.
  • Build and manage project teams; organize kick-off and regular meetings to align all stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, risk registers, and ensure proactive mitigation of issues.
  • Control project costs and margins, manage variations, and provide accurate financial forecasts.
  • Act as a single point of contact for on-site implementation, including SAT scripts and commissioning.
  • Ensure project success across safety, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and timing.
  • Drive continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and recommending better practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
  • Accredited Project Management certification with construction site focus is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of construction site management experience, ideally with hands-on Data Centre/Medium Voltage infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in large industrial projects with automation and controls will be considered.
