Human Resources Coordinator
Eaton Senior Communities is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role is instrumental in managing and implementing employment policies, encompassing recruitment, orientation, training, and staffing. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and direct processes for sourcing qualified applicants, including coordinating interviews, checking references, and conducting background checks.
- Evaluate applicant qualifications, conduct orientations, and assist with ongoing staff education and development.
- Coordinate employment activities such as staff education, supervision follow-up, and stay/exit interviews.
- Investigate employee injuries and prepare necessary reports for workers' compensation.
- Administer and coordinate employee benefits, including enrollment, termination, claim problem resolution, and updates.
- Administer the 401(k) plan and coordinate benefits administration with insurance providers.
- Maintain employee personnel files, ensuring confidentiality of all staff information.
- Provide payroll processing support, maintaining HR changes in the payroll database and reviewing documentation.
- Manage the 90-day and annual employee review process.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientations to introduce company policies, practices, and required topics.
- Coordinate and participate in ongoing employee education and staff meetings.
- Review staff complaints and grievances, making written reports of actions taken.
- Represent ESC in audits by government agents concerning employment policies and practices.
- Prepare and monitor the human resources budget, including preparing related statistical reports on turnover, absenteeism, and recruitment costs.
- Recommend methods and procedures to improve the work environment.
- Prepare required government reports and maintain databases on competitive wage levels and trends.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience required.
- Experience with Paylocity or similar HR/payroll platforms is preferred.
- This is a 30-hour per week position.
- Eligible for benefits after 60 days.
- Starting hourly salary: $30.00.
