The Role
This Data Scientist role is about leveraging data to drive smarter business decisions, optimise dynamic pricing, and enhance the dining experience. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Growth teams.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain predictive models for pricing and personalization.
- Analyse large datasets on restaurant performance, customer behaviour, and market trends.
- Collaborate with Engineering to integrate and monitor model performance.
- Create dashboards and visualisations of key business metrics.
- Design and evaluate A/B tests to validate hypotheses and improve performance.
- Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or PyTorch) and SQL.
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud data stacks.
- Expertise in machine learning, data modelling, and statistical analysis.
- Knowledge in ETL processes and data visualisation tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.
- Bonus: Experience in SaaS, hospitality, or food-tech, and familiarity with A/B testing frameworks.
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field with 3–5 years experience.
