Role Description

This is an on-site Board Member position located in Vancouver, BC. As a Board Member, you will play a key role in advising and overseeing the strategic direction, governance, and operations of EasyPark. Responsibilities include attending board meetings, contributing to long-term strategy development, ensuring organizational accountability, and enhancing stakeholder relations. Board Members bring diverse perspectives to enrich decision-making while upholding the company's mission and values in the parking and mobility industry.

Qualifications

  • Leadership and governance experience, particularly on boards or advisory committees
  • Strategic planning and decision-making skills to guide the company's long-term vision
  • Financial acumen, including understanding of budgets, financial reports, and risk management
  • Knowledge of urban mobility, parking management, or related industries is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and upholding organizational values
  • Previous board experience and familiarity with governance protocols are preferred but not mandatory
  • Availability to attend meetings and actively participate in organizational initiatives in Vancouver, BC

Key Qualifications

  • Human Resources experience
  • Corporate board experience
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance principles, board responsibilities, and fiduciary duties
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Commitment to the mission and values of EasyPark, including a passion for urban mobility and sustainability.

Time Commitment

  • Attend regular in person Board and Committee meetings (8 times each per year)
  • Prepare for meetings by reviewing materials and staying informed about relevant issues
  • Allocate time for Committee and Board work outside of scheduled meetings
