Your Role & Responsibilities as a Fullstack AI Engineer

As one of the first engineers, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology stack, user experience standards, and delivery speed from day one. You will be responsible for designing and developing both frontend and backend software features, establishing critical tech stack choices, and defining API standards for our evolving agentic platform.

• Develop Features End-to-End: Collaborate closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to build customer-facing features, covering everything from database models and APIs to UI components.
• Design Agentic UX: Create intuitive human-in-the-loop controls, monitors, and configuration interfaces for AI agents. You will integrate LLM inference, retrieval, tool/agent orchestration, and evaluations to launch and productionize new AI integrations.
• Backend APIs and Integration: Design robust backend services with clean, typed interfaces, strong observability, and CI/CD. Your services will act as reliable connectors to customer systems, powering both agentic logic and frontend experiences.
• Shape Platform and Infrastructure: Contribute to the evolution of our design system, shared repositories, and developer tooling. You will transform one-off solutions into reusable libraries, patterns, and platform primitives, accelerating both product development and shaping the company's technical foundation.

• Software Engineering: Possess strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to write clean, production-ready code quickly. You are proficient in building full-stack web applications from scratch (e.g., using React, TypeScript, and Node.js or Python) and developing rich, high-performance frontends and corresponding backend logic.
• Builder at Every Layer: Comfortably navigate the entire stack, from data flows and APIs to polished UIs and deployment/operations. You understand how relational data structures and component architecture influence product experience and have experience owning features end-to-end.
• AI Native: You possess an AI-first mindset, discerning where AI is most effective and where it is not. You have experience building upon foundational models, combining their capabilities with retrieval, voice AI, multi-agent architectures, and external tools. You are enthusiastic about designing novel abstractions for reasoning, memory, and interaction within agentic software.
• Platform Instinct: You are adept at establishing the foundational elements for future platform growth. You enjoy identifying how features, interactions, or model capabilities can be generalized into reusable systems through clear, composable code that facilitates further development by others.
