Role Overview

The Development Director - EA SPORTS Technology DevOps is a Project and People Manager who will guide project management and team leadership to create efficient, reliable, and innovative DevOps solutions. You will handle project scheduling, resource planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management while ensuring an excellent player experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve effective teams and identify resourcing needs.
  • Collaborate with tech leads and engineers on strategic DevOps projects.
  • Guide planning, release management, and partner communications.
  • Define, monitor key performance indicators and drive process improvements.
  • Mitigate risks and manage support for live systems ensuring minimal outages.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • 5+ years of people management and leadership experience.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay ranges: CAD $119,600 - $167,300 depending on location. Benefits include vacation, sick time, parental leave support, extended health coverage, and more.

Work Arrangement

This role requires onsite presence in the Vancouver studio 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
