Position Overview

The Senior Insights & Business Intelligence Analyst is a trusted business partner responsible for transforming complex data into meaningful business insights through analysis, executive reporting, and data storytelling. This role is primarily focused on delivering actionable insights that influence business decisions while providing business intelligence and reporting support, as needed, to meet evolving organizational priorities. The successful candidate combines strong analytical thinking with business intelligence capabilities and demonstrates intellectual curiosity, sound business judgment, accountability, adaptability, and a passion for delivering high-quality analytical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Analysis & Insights

• Analyze large datasets to proactively identify trends, anomalies, business risks, and growth opportunities, delivering actionable insights and recommendations that improve business performance.

• Translate complex business questions into analytical solutions and deliver executive-ready presentations that transform complex analyses into clear business insights, compelling stories, and actionable recommendations that drive informed decision-making.

• Anticipate executive information needs by proactively delivering timely analyses that support strategic initiatives and informed decision-making.

• Exercise sound business judgment, challenge assumptions, validate findings, and provide thoughtful recommendations that improve business outcomes.

• Manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to changing business needs, and take ownership of analytical deliverables by consistently delivering accurate, high-quality work with a strong sense of accountability.

Business Intelligence, Reporting & Data Management

• Provide analytical and reporting support for the development and enhancement of executive scorecards, KPI reporting, dashboards, and reusable analytical solutions using Power BI and other business intelligence tools, as business needs require.

• Develop scalable reporting solutions by extracting, transforming, and modeling data using SQL and Power Query to support executive reporting and business insights.

• Design and maintain efficient analytical datasets and data models that enable scalable reporting, self-service analytics, and business intelligence solutions.

• Validate data integrity, reconcile reporting results, and ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and adherence to data governance standards.

• Continuously improve reporting processes, analytical approaches, and business intelligence capabilities to increase efficiency, automation, and business value.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, with 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or data analysis.

• Strong technical expertise in SQL, DAX, Power Query, and Power BI for data extraction, transformation, analytical calculations, metric development, dashboard development, executive reporting, and business intelligence support.

• Experience developing analytical datasets, data models, reusable reporting structures, and scalable reporting solutions, with a strong understanding of ETL processes, data governance, and reporting best practices.

• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the business acumen to translate analytical findings into meaningful business outcomes and actionable recommendations.

• Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and data storytelling skills with the ability to synthesize complex analyses into clear business insights that influence executive decision-making.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly to changing business needs, exercise sound judgment, challenge assumptions, and consistently deliver high-quality work with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and build trusted partnerships with business stakeholders and senior leadership.

Preferred

• Experience with additional data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Qlik Sense.

• Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Azure.

• Telecommunications industry experience.

• Experience developing executive KPI scorecards, performance dashboards, and self-service reporting solutions.

• Experience leveraging AI-assisted analytics, Microsoft Copilot, or emerging BI technologies to improve reporting efficiency and analytical capabilities.
