Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tolland, CT. The Lathe Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating lathes to machine metallic and non-metallic parts according to specified engineering drawings and technical documents.

Daily Tasks

  • Monitor machine temperatures and lubricants
  • Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines
  • Ensure all work meets quality control standards

Qualifications

  • Experience in Technical and Engineering Drawings
  • Proficiency in Machine Operation and Milling
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance on machines
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is preferred
