About The Role
The Privacy Engineer will work within the Global Privacy Team in Dyson Legal. You will partner with our Research, Design and Development (RDD) and Connectivity teams to integrate privacy considerations into product design and support global projects and initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for privacy-related matters for RDD and Connectivity teams.
- Provide expert advice on privacy compliance for new projects involving personal data.
- Integrate Privacy by Design from early product development stages.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and develop frameworks and resources.
- Monitor evolving laws and regulations affecting data protection and emerging technologies.
- Support global privacy compliance activities and deliver training.
About You
- At least 5 years of global privacy compliance experience.
- Experience integrating privacy requirements into new product development cycles.
- Strong knowledge of privacy, data protection laws and emerging tech.
- Relevant degree and privacy-related qualifications (e.g., CIPM, CIPP/E, CIPP/A).
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders regionally or globally.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
