Overview

The Sales Development Representative at Dynatrace is responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for the APM software field sales organization. In this role, you will partner with field sales representatives and marketing teams to generate demand and qualify leads.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads and prospects based on defined criteria.
  • Profile assigned accounts and drive outbound prospecting to generate new business.
  • Call senior IT management at Fortune 1000 companies to develop leads.
  • Conduct research using Google, LinkedIn, Jigsaw and other tools.
  • Develop an understanding of accounts' business issues and needs.
  • Execute database and telemarketing programs to boost event attendance and product awareness.
  • Educate prospects about Dynatrace enterprise solutions.
  • Utilize CRM Salesforce.com to track activities.
  • Attend weekly territory forecast meetings and update team on progress.
  • Provide feedback to marketing regarding lead quality.

Preferred Qualifications: College degree, understanding of IT operations management, CRM experience (Salesforce), self-motivation, problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to work individually and in teams.

Compensation and Rewards

The on-target-earning for this role is $90,000. Compensation is determined by experience, skills, education, and work location. Total compensation includes unlimited personal time off, an employee stock purchase plan, medical/dental benefits, and a company matching 401(k) plan.
