Role Overview: Product Manager Data Privacy
As the Data Privacy Product Manager, you will lead and operationalize Dynatrace’s Privacy by Design program. You will work with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, R&D, Legal, Security, Engineering, UX, and Product Architecture, to embed privacy principles into every product lifecycle phase. Your efforts will ensure compliance with global privacy laws and foster customer trust.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between Compliance and R&D teams.
- Own and evolve the Privacy by Design program aligned with product strategy.
- Collaborate with legal, security, and engineering for privacy controls.
- Partner with Product Architects, Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to identify early privacy strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD).
- Support audits and respond to privacy inquiries and incidents.
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure program effectiveness.
- Identify process improvements and drive compliance automation.
- Educate teams on compliance requirements and technical constraints.
What Will Help You Succeed
Requirements include at least 2 years’ experience in privacy, compliance, IT security or related product management roles within SaaS enterprise software. A strong grasp of privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27701, NIST Privacy) and the Software Development Lifecycle is essential. Experience in privacy engineering, data governance, or security-by-design practices is valued. Certifications like CIPP/E, CIPM, or PMP are a plus, as are excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation & Benefits
At Dynatrace, attractive compensation packages are offered along with stock purchase options and numerous benefits. The minimum salary for this role is €65,000 gross per year, with higher compensation based on qualifications and experience.
