Role Overview
The Interconnection Manager supports the development of Dynamic Energy's distributed generation pipeline. Reporting to the Director of Interconnection, you will work closely with development and EPC teams to optimize interconnection processes for both Front-of-the-Meter and Behind-the-Meter projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage utility interconnection processes from application to operation.
- Evaluate interconnection risk and interpret public utility queue data.
- Leverage expertise in utility tariffs, system design, and technical standards.
- Own utility relationships and monitor performance against tariff deadlines.
- Supervise interconnection schedules and payments, providing regular updates.
- Interpret technical interconnection studies and communicate insights effectively.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in utility interconnection. A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s in business or policy is preferred. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, established relationships with utility staff, and proven negotiation capabilities. A robust technical understanding of solar and battery storage facility design is essential along with excellent communication, time management, and team collaboration skills.
Travel & Work Arrangement
This position is remotely based with periodic travel to the Philadelphia, PA headquarters.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected starting pay range is $78,000 - $112,000 USD, complemented by a bonus structure and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement savings, paid time off, and more.
