Role Overview
The role of Consultor IT Strategy & Transformation at DXC Spain involves defining technology strategy, planning IT transformation, redesigning IT processes, and designing operational and IT governance models. You will support projects in innovation, technology adoption, and continuous improvement, while evaluating and designing IT or enterprise architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Define technology strategy and transformation plans
- Redesign IT processes including ITSM components such as incident and change management
- Design operating models and IT governance frameworks (TOM, FinOps, KPIs)
- Support innovation projects, technology adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Evaluate and design IT/enterprise architectures using frameworks like TOGAF and IT4IT
- Participate in transformation offices (PMO, Value Office, Digital Hub)
Experience Levels
Junior (0–2 years): Basic education in engineering, IT, telecommunications or related fields. Interest in consulting, strategy, or technological transformation. Basic knowledge of ITIL, IT processes, architecture, AI or innovation is a plus.
Mid-Level (2–5 years): Experience in technology projects, IT processes, or digital transformation. Ability to structure deliverables, prepare presentations, and facilitate sessions. Practical knowledge in ITSM, architecture, IT governance, or innovation required.
Senior (5+ years): Solid consulting experience in IT strategy, processes, or transformation. Ability to lead deliverables, define approaches, and provide business vision. Advanced knowledge in ITIL, TOGAF, FinOps, COBIT. Proven expertise in engaging with mid to high-level stakeholders.
Education & Certifications
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Industrial, ADE+IT, Mathematics or similar. Advanced certifications in IT Management, Architecture, IT Governance, Cybersecurity or Digital are a plus.
Technical & Soft Skills
Technical Skills: ITIL v4, TOGAF, COBIT, FinOps, Lean, BPMN, Scrum, Agile, NIST, ISO 27001, and experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, BMC Remedy. Additional skills in Cloud, IaC, RPA, AI, automation, and data governance are valued.
Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, clear written communication, presentation skills, client orientation, proactivity, autonomy, and teamwork.
Languages
Professional Spanish; minimum B2 English (C1 preferred for senior roles).
