Overview

The SAC & BW Consultant at DXC Technology is responsible for gathering and analyzing business reporting requirements, designing SAC stories, dashboards, and visualizations, and collaborating with SAP backend teams for data modeling and connectivity.

Main Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business reporting requirements from various stakeholders.
  • Design and develop SAC stories, dashboards, and visualizations using SAC BI, Planning, and Predictive scenarios.
  • Collaborate with SAP backend teams (BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, BW, ECC, Datasphere) for data modelling and connectivity.
  • Build and maintain data models within SAP SAC (Live Data Connection and Import Models).
  • Conduct unit testing and provide UAT support, troubleshooting SAC-related issues.
  • Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and provide end-user training and support.
  • Learn and apply SAC best practices related to UI/UX, performance optimization, and data security.
  • Stay updated on the latest SAC features, roadmap, and industry analytics trends.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting post-implementation.
  • Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Primary Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in SAC.
  • Hands-on experience in SAC with a demonstrated ability to showcase SAC reporting functionalities.
  • Experience with a minimum of one end-to-end SAC implementation project.
  • Experience with integration to other SAP modules like BW and Power Platforms.
  • Certification in SAC and/or other SAP Solutions is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
