Role Overview - Claims Specialist
As a Claims Specialist, you will be essential in investigating, evaluating, and resolving liability insurance claims across General and Professional Liability matters. You will handle all aspects of claims from reviewing and investigating cases to assessing coverage and determining liability.
Responsibilities
- Review and investigate insurance claims while analyzing coverage, liability, and damages.
- Develop resolution strategies including mediation, risk transfer, and litigation coordination.
- Maintain detailed claim files and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide outstanding customer service to insureds, claimants, and internal stakeholders.
What Will Help You Succeed?
You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a readiness to adapt in a fast-paced environment. An undergraduate degree or Paralegal Certificate with 1-2 years of insurance experience in Professional Liability is required. A proactive attitude and a strong desire to build a long-term career in claims are essential.
