Role and Responsibilities
As a Casual Academic Demonstrator (Casual Grade 5) at Durham University, you will:
- Guide students in experimental laboratory, computing classes, workshops, or similar sessions.
- Assist the class leader including developing enhanced experiments.
- Support in the delivery of classes and maintain safe working practices.
- Attend annual briefings and training sessions for demonstrators.
- Support the class supervisor in running sessions and monitoring student conduct.
- Potentially mark log books, field trip reports, problems and lab scripts.
