Job Description
Internal Communications Lead - Duratec Group
Own and lead internal communications across the growing Duratec Group, based in Sydney with national travel opportunities and a multi-state presence.
The Role
As the Internal Communications Lead, you will be responsible for setting the groupwide internal communications strategy within the Duratec Limited Group. This role requires collaboration with a range of internal stakeholders in corporate functions and across nationwide projects. You will contribute to the overall strategy being delivered by the Marketing & Communications team during an exciting period of growth for the Group.
- Devise and implement Duratec’s internal communications strategy and tone of voice.
- Plan and deliver consistent internal communications across Duratec and its subsidiaries.
- Partner with senior leaders to create and cascade all-company messages.
- Lead employee engagement campaigns in collaboration with the People & Culture team.
- Manage the delivery of business-critical updates, corporate publications, and projects.
- Create engaging written and video content, harnessing activity from around the business.
- Monitor and evaluate performance to continuously look for new and better ways to engage internal audiences.
About You
You are a strategic thinker with creative flair and have managed stakeholders in a multi-brand environment. You possess experience in an internal communications role and have the ability to write and edit content, adapting styles for tone of voice and audience. A proactive approach to content creation, aligning internal communications with Duratec's future direction, is essential. Excellent organizational and time management skills are required, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. Proficiency in marketing software and tools is expected. Experience within the construction and engineering industry is desirable.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- Driver's License.
