Position Overview

Dunham-Bush USA LLC is seeking a skilled HVAC Application Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will provide technical expertise, system selection guidance, and application support to clients, sales teams, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to determine customer requirements and HVAC solutions.
  • Review project specifications and design documents for code compliance.
  • Select and size HVAC equipment including AHUs, chillers, cooling towers, fans, and controls.
  • Prepare technical proposals, submittals, and application documentation.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers and teams.
  • Troubleshoot system performance issues and recommend solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in HVAC design, applications engineering, or related roles is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, load calculations, and selection software.
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE standards, building codes, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency with CAD, Revit, or similar design software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to multi-task.
