We’re growing our Engineering team and hiring our next Staff Frontend Engineer to increase our product velocity, own features end-to-end and bring DualEntry’s AI-powered accounting platform to the world’s fastest-growing companies.

The team built a $100M ARR business from scratch, scaled it to 300+ people, and led a successful exit. Now, they’re building a category-defining SaaS product to automate and modernize enterprise accounting.

Where You’ll Create Impact

  • Build, ship, and own major parts of the product UI in React + Next.js.
  • Design and optimize interactive experiences simplifying complex workflows.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams for seamless integration.
  • Contribute to architecture, performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across browsers.
  • Help define our frontend system and component library as we scale.
  • Elevate product quality with thoughtful details and user empathy.

How You’ll Work

You will collaborate with founders, product & design, and backend engineering. You’ll operate with full ownership, deploying daily, making fast decisions, and always aiming for clarity.

What Sets You Up for Success

  • 8+ years of frontend development experience with React; Next.js is a plus.
  • Strong grasp of JavaScript and TypeScript principles including closures, prototypes, and classes.
  • Expertise in responsive UI, accessibility, and usability principles.
  • Experience in building and testing APIs using HTTP, Postman, and debugging tools.
  • Clear product thinking with an eye for design details and polish.
  • Pragmatic approach with fast decision-making and focus on impact.
  • Curiosity and autonomy to learn fast and solve problems independently.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $100K–$175K USD
  • Equity: ~$40K+ USD
  • Option for B2B or full-time permanent position
  • Remote-first setup with preference for Eastern European time zones overlapping US EST
  • 15 PTO days + 12 public holidays
  • Visa sponsorship option for relocation to NYC within 2+ years
