About the Business Analyst Role at DSV
Are you a results-oriented Business Analyst with a passion for people and processes? If so, we believe you could be the perfect match for our Business Analytics team. This full-time position involves reporting to the Business Analytics team and collaborating closely with the management team in DSV Contract Logistics. As a vital business partner, you will support local management in all business economic matters and enhance our control activities. You will contribute to both local and national projects, acting as a crucial link between operations and the finance department.
The Business Analytics team currently comprises one Business Analyst, two Logistics Engineers (Ph.D. students), and three Logistics Coordinators who manage billing and controlling. Together, the team combines deep analytical expertise with strong operational competencies, all aimed at ensuring data-driven decisions and precise financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze management information (P&L, KPIs), providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and optimize cost analysis for suppliers and internal controls within our operation.
- Identify opportunities for improving working methods and procedures, leading the implementation of these enhancements.
- Prepare financial forecasting.
- Develop business cases and other decision calculations.
- Control investment projects and customer implementations.
- Offer commercial control and support for office administration.
Success in this Business Analyst role is critically dependent on building strong relationships with local management, employees, and the Shared Service Centre team.

- A completed bachelor's or other academic degree (master's), preferably in economics.
- At least five years of relevant professional experience.

- Experience and ability to communicate proficiently in both Danish and English, verbally and in writing.
- Experience and/or an interest in the logistics sector (an advantage).
