Job Description

Middle and High School Teachers - 2026-2027 School Year

DSST Public Schools is seeking dedicated Middle and High School Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year, open to any subject area. Join our network of 16 schools and make a significant impact on student success.

Position Details

  • Grade Level: Middle or High School
  • Location: Multiple DSST Public Schools locations.
  • Salary: $60,000 - $82,000, based on aligned experience up to 10 years. Relocation stipend available for those moving over 75 miles from Denver.
  • Status: Full-time, school year, benefits eligible, exempt, in-person.
  • Start Date: New staff attend a New Staff Institute at the end of July 2026.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Any Area).

  • Proven commitment to and experience with serving students of color, students with disabilities, and/or multilingual students.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Utilize data to analyze and drive daily practice.
  • Take personal accountability for student impact and outcomes, reflecting on practice to be responsive.
  • Create learning environments that foster student ownership of learning and academic success.
  • Model and maintain high expectations for all learners.
  • Identify personal strengths that align with school core values and guiding philosophy.
  • Engage in feedback sessions with an instructional coach.
  • Seek opportunities for professional growth and continuous self-improvement.
  • Engage in constructive dialogue with students, colleagues, and administration.
  • Actively support and participate in school professional development programs.
  • Uphold school core values and policies within and outside the classroom.
  • Additional duties may include student recruitment, advisory class, and after-school tutoring.
