Role Overview
As a Senior Engineering Manager Core Growth Funnel Optimization & Monetization at Dropbox, you will partner directly with a Product Manager and report to the CEO to oversee key business objectives. You will lead teams driving funnel optimizations across trials, conversion, and customer retention, ensuring significant impact on user subscription and recurring revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage up to 25 direct reports and engineering managers.
- Partner with Product Managers to plan roadmaps and sprints.
- Ensure high quality execution and balance feature development with technical debt.
- Lead Agile processes and review engineering designs.
- Drive cross-organizational initiatives and career development for your team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of people management and 10 years of technical experience.
- Experience managing groups of 20+ engineers and engineering managers.
- Proven track record in consumer user-facing teams using Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience setting strategic direction for consumer products.
- Background in growth, monetization, or funnel optimization.
- Experience collaborating with Product, Design, and Data Engineering teams.
