The Design & Research Team crafts thoughtful, powerful, and delightful experiences by combining iterative design and deep user research. The team works on user experience, visual and interaction design, accessibility, content design, and more.
About the Role: Senior Content Designer
As a Senior Content Designer at Dropbox, you will shape and elevate the core product by crafting content strategy and UX writing for features that help millions of people work at their best. Your work will include owning the content strategy for high-impact initiatives like onboarding, feature adoption, and quality improvements.
- Own content strategy and UX writing across core Dropbox features.
- Translate technical concepts into friendly, user-focused language.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and researchers.
- Create and maintain language consistency across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
- Contribute to workshops, critiques, and cross-functional alignment.
Requirements
7+ years in professional writing with at least 5 years focused on in-product content; proven ability to manage multiple projects; a strong portfolio of content design work; and experience writing for mobile and multi-platform environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on productivity tools, a passion for building team culture, and the ability to demonstrate content design impact.
Compensation & Zones
This role is available for US Zones 2 and 3. Compensation ranges from approximately $125,100 to $190,400 USD, depending on the candidate’s remote work location and other factors.
