Role Overview
As a Learning Designer & Facilitator at Dropbox, you will design and deliver modern, learner-centered experiences. This role focuses on learning and leadership development across a Virtual First environment by collaborating with cross-functional partners and implementing innovative instructional methods.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver learner-centered experiences using instructional design best practices.
- Facilitate engaging workshops in virtual and in-person formats.
- Consult with business leaders to develop tailored learning solutions.
- Evaluate learning programs with data-driven insights and feedback.
- Innovate with new formats, tools (including AI), and design approaches.
- Design senior leadership programs aligned with Dropbox’s learning philosophy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Minimum 8 years in instructional design, facilitation, or leadership development.
- Expertise in adult learning theory and behavior change principles.
- Strong facilitation skills for diverse audiences in virtual and in-person settings.
- Experience with integrating AI tools in learning and development.
- Proven success in applying HR as a product approaches.
- Comfort with UX/design thinking principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
- Experience in organizational development and coaching certifications.
- Familiarity with learning technologies and authoring tools like LMS, Articulate, Miro, and AI-powered tools.
- Experience in tech-forward or Virtual First organizations.
Compensation & Zones
This role is available for US Zones 2 and 3. Ranges: Zone 2 ($137,700—$186,300 USD) and Zone 3 ($122,400—$165,600 USD). Salary is determined based on location, role level, and experience.
